David Eddings was born on 7th
of July 1931 in Spokane, Washington. He grew up
near Seattle, in the Puget Sound area.
David Eddings was Married to Judith Leigh Schall
on 27th of October 1962.
David Eddings worked a period as a sales clerk at
Boeing Co. He has also worked as an English teacher
at college. David Eddings served in the US Army
during the years 1954-1956.
He made his debut in 1973 with the book 'High Hunt'.
An adventure story in a modern environment.
In 1982 the first book of 'The Belgariad' was published
and became a big success.
Their (David & Leigh) latest book is named 'The
Rivan Codex'.

K. Hamilton |
Laurell K. Hamilton is the
author of 2 New York Times Best Seller series that
mix mystery, fantasy, magic, horror and romance.
Her 11 Vampire Hunter novels from Ace books, featuring
necromancer and crime investigator Anita Blake,
began with Guilty Pleasures and continues with the
Incubus Dreams due out October 2004., in which Anita's
complex personal and professional relationships
with a master vampire and an alpha werewolf continue
to evolve. There are now more than 2 million copies
of Anita in print worldwide. Her new series from
Ballantine is about Fey princess, Merry Gentry,
who is also a private investigator and began with
Kiss of Shadows, continued with Caress of Twilight.
The third book in the series, Seduced By Moonlight,
will be published in February 2004. Ms. Hamilton
lives in St. Louis County Missouri with her husband,
daughter, two pug and two part pug dogs and an ever-fluctuating
number of fish.

Haydon |
An accomplished herbalist,
harpist and madrigal singer, Elizabeth Haydon also
enjoys anthropology and folklore. She works as an
editor in educational publishing. Currently resides
in the East Coast. Some of her works to date are
the Symphony of the Ages series which include the
titles: Rhapshody, Propehcy and Destiny. The new
release titled Requiem for the Sun and an upcoming
one called Elegy for a Lost Star.

Jordan |
Robert Jordan was born in 1948
in Charleston, South Carolina, where he now lives
with his wife Harriet, in a house built in 1797.
He taught himself to read when he was four with
the incidental aid of a twelve-years-older brother,
and was tackling Mark Twain and Jules Verne by five.
He is a graduate of The Citadel, the Military College
of South Carolina, with a degree in physics. He
served two tours in Vietnam with the U.S. Army;
among his decorations are the Distinguished Flying
Cross, the Bronze Star with "V," and two
Vietnamese Crosses of Gallantry. A history buff,
he has also written dance and theater criticism.
He enjoys the outdoor sports of hunting, fishing,
and sailing, and the indoor sports of poker, chess,
pool, and pipe collecting. He has been writing since
1977 and intends to continue until they nail shut
his coffin. His best selling series to date is the
Wheel of Time series with ten books to date.
