Lab #1:  Lakeview Construction

Our first lab assignment is to use Microsoft Access to produce the Lakeview Construction database from Chapter 1 of the textbook.  Create relations (i.e. tables) for Contractor, Job, Equipment, and Rental and populate these tables with the data contained in Figure 1-4.  Be sure to establish "relationships" between fields in these relations, as expressed in Figure 1-4.  Then use the Queries capability of Access to construct a query that produces the results in Figure 1-5.

The details of how to use Microsoft Access for this purpose will be explained in lab.  When you have your query working properly, save your work as a Microsoft database file (*.mdb format) and email it as an attachment to me at blessing@msoe.edu
