The best little weekend get away that I
know if is our families cabin. It was purchased by my grandfather
more that twenty years a go and has become a family getaway that brings
us together and provides us with a quiet place to relax and enjoy
outdoor sports. Hunting, fishing, water skiing, and just plan relaxing
are the favorite activities that we enjoy at the cabin. It is
located in northern Minnesota and day trips to Duluth and the north
shore of lake superior are some of my favorite activities.
I took a trip to the cabin in the winter time in 2005 over
Christmas vacation. This was the first time I had been to the
cabin in the dead of winter and it was a very wonderful experience.
I plan to make this a yearly trip. I took the following pictures
while snowshoeing in a park near the cabin. Click each picture to
