Chimney Rock in Marshan township in Dakota County Minnesota.  It is a 40 foot high sandstone column that was naturally formed by weathering.  It has been a local historic site for many years and was used as a guiding land make by settlers and travelers in earlier Minnesota history.  The site is listed by the Dakota County Historical society at the following link http://www.dakotahistory.org/county/marshan.asp .
