This course provides students with an overview of computer and software engineering, as well as strategies for being successful at MSOE. Student teams build working embedded computer systems using an engineering process that includes system requirements, design, implementation and verification.

In this course you and a partner will be lent a LEGO MindStorms kit. You and your partner will be responsible for maintaining the kit and will be assessed a fee for any missing or damaged parts at the end of the quarter.

A quiz will be given during most Thursday lectures. The lowest quiz grade will be dropped. No make-up quizzes will be given.
