I could write a ten page report about what happened this weekend alone and I just might. Just kidding, I am going to try to keep this short as I have lots that I really should be doing instead of writing to you. But I know how much you all appreciate this weekly update so I won't forget about you in all this excitement.

Wow, I am so excited writing this that I can't move my fingers fast enough. Lets start with talking about our floor study that was on Tuesday. I think that it went fairly well. For some reason the guys were much quieter than usual. Part of this was that Scott who usually does half the talking only said about two things all night. I know that earlier I was complaining about how he was talking too much but if it was somewhere between the two extremes that would be a lot better.

I can't hold it in any longer, I was going to chronologically go through my week but this needs to come out now. The thing that has me so excited is the new MSOE IVCF website, if you haven't checked it out already, do it now. Here's the link http://ivcf.erichmusick.com/html/index . What are you doing reading this. You should be looking at the site. Well, if you've already seen it all or you don't want to look at it, read on and I will tell the exciting tale of its birth.

This has been so exciting for me. I have been able to work with two very gifted freshmen here at MSOE to develop what I believe is an excellent website. Erich has website experience and coded everything. He was the one with the resources for the cool photo management and the message board. Brandon is more the artsy guy and did all the flash stuff including the header and the cool navigation menu. It has really been a treat to have these guys working with me on this project. Not only have we developed a kickin website but we have also made a great friendship.

Now back to chronological order, where were we. Not too much happened on Wednesday, at least not that I can remember. I did lead the prayer meeting and it went ok. It was hard to do supplication. I read the story of the women who pleaded with the unjust judge and got here way because she kept asking. This is an important parable in that God who loves us will surely answer our prayers when we continually bring them before him. The parable is found in Luke 18: 1-8.

Thursday was a good day that ended on a high note with Oasis. Hunter was the speaker this week and he did an excellent job. He talked about how we are called to love the Lord and then obey his command to feed his sheep. This was a very inspirational talk and I hope that it changed other people just as much as it changed me.

Friday was another great day. In the evening, Brandon , Erich, and I went to the Admirals game and they won. This was a great time. After that, we returned to Steven's room and watched Office Space. Then we crossed the hall to Ross and Owen's room and watched the end of the Cubs game. Then we came back to my room and watched the movie that my friends and I made in high school. It ended up being about 2 when I finally got to bed.

Saturday was just as fun if not more than Friday. I woke up at 11, had brunch with a bunch of people. Then I worked on my C++ program for a while. After that, Erich, Brandon and I worked on the IV website until around 9. Then we came to my room and watched Gone Fishin' with Sarah and Brittney. Then after the movie and after midnight we ordered pizza. We then ate pizza and played scrunge in the RWJ lobby until 1:30 or later. It ended up being 2:30 by the time I fell asleep.

Sunday morning started off differently than I had planned. I overslept and missed Sunday school. Then when I tried to fall back asleep I couldn't so I ended up figuring out how to calculate the mode for my C++ program. Then I was ready in plenty of time for church. The sermon this week was really good as Pastor Marc talked about how we need to start doing things today and to invest in relationships instead of everything else that doesn't last. I thought that this message was very applicable especially for my life.

The rest of Sunday was spent doing homework and playing with stuff on my computer. Erich, Brandon, and I did take a nice walk down by the lake before I had to go to work which was cool.

By the way, it is now Monday evening, last night I decided I was going to go to sleep by midnight so I just sorta dropped everything.

Today was a god day. It was very busy but I did get quite a bit done. Here are the highlights. The SAE meeting on composite materials was very interesting. It was also good to have free pizza for lunch. Then later I had an interview about an article I am writing about the new Aero team. This was a very interesting meeting and I learned a lot of cool stuff. Prayer was also very good tonight. We had a God hunt and thought of all the things that we needed to thank God for. This list could go on for days.

Well, it is getting late and I want to take some time to talk to my roommate seeing neither of us is doing anything anyways. One last thing, I just found out that my friend Heather had a baby girl, how exciting.
