Weapons
M16
The M16 rifle is the primary infantry weapon of the US Army
soldier. The M16A1 was designed with two fire modes, semiautomatic
and fully automatic. The M16 was redesigned after a study found
that in the fully automatic mode only the first three rounds
hit the target. The M16A2 was then born with the main difference
being that instead of having a fully automatic setting the weapon
now had a three round burst position which fires three rounds
when the trigger is pulled.
