Genealogy

My search to find my grandfather's, John C. O'Donnell, birth certificate got me started doing the genealogy of my family in August of 1998. My uncle, Neil O'Donnell, sent me some old family papers he had from my grandparents. These papers were a treasure of family history, which I did not want to be lost. Amongst these papers was the document that I was searching for - my grandfathers' birth certificate. With this document, I was able to apply for Irish citizenship, which I received on April 15, 1999.

The O'Donnell, Duhamel and Donovan families are my relatives through my father. The Kahut and Zauft families are my relatives through my mother.

I have complied a large collection of family information on both sides of my family. The following pages present this data on each family. I have also included a general page to help others get started with genealogy.
