Amateur radio can open many wonderful opportunities to you. It is the original worldwide web in that it allowed world wide communication. I received my no-code technician license in June of 1992. With the latest FCC changes of the license structure this is now just the technician class. I would have had my license sooner but I have always had a mental block to learning Morse code.
