An errata list for the text is available (adapted from an earlier posting at the University of Wisconsin-Madison). Source code and answers to selected exercises are available. (Note that there are errors in some of the answers.)
Some course topics are not fully covered in the textbook, particularly the string class and the vector template class from the Standard Template Library; supplementary material can be accessed by following the links.

Course policies
My general course policies apply to this course. Quizzes will be given during class periods, without prior notice. No make-up quizzes will be given. A missed quiz counts as zero. Quiz material will often be based on assigned reading and homework exercises. Homework exercises are meant to assist in studying the course material, and will not be handed in. Questions on homework problems are welcome prior to the class in which they are due.
