Textbook

The course textbook (same as CS-182) is James P. Cohoon and Jack W. Davidson, C++ Program Design: An Introduction to Programming and Object-Oriented Design, McGraw-Hill, 1999, ISBN 0-07-012135-4.

Grading algorithm

Homework 20%
Lab projects 35%
Mid-term exam 20%
Final exam (comprehensive) 25%

Note that this algorithm indicates how a grade will be determined for students who have successfully demonstrated mastery of the course objectives. An acceptable level of success in meeting all course objectives is a prerequisite for a passing grade in the course.

All team members will be asked to complete a peer evaluation.
