2006-2007 MSOE BMES Student Chapter Membership Instructions (v. 2.0)

Complete the attached application either electronically using Adobe Acrobat (any version) or manually.

Submit a hardcopy of your application to any BMES officer (Pam Duda, Nicole Gregor, Katie Schultz and Maria Soto) or Dr. Tritt (S-355C) with $35.00 cash or check ($30.00 national dues plus $5.00 local dues. Submit just $5.00 if you only want to join our student chapter).

If you only want to join our chapter, mark “Other” for your affiliation and write “MOSE Only” next to it. We’ll record your membership locally, but not forward your application to the national office. In this case, you should not list BMES membership on your résumé or other documents.

If you joined national BMES using their website and want to join our local chapter, submit a completed membership application with “Joined online; $5.00 local dues enclosed” written on the bottom of the form.

We will immediately cash your check and deposit any cash into the BMES bank account. We will submit all the applications, except those for local membership only, to the BMES national office with a single check in early December. Your national membership will run from January 2007 to January 2008. Your local membership will run from September 2006 to September 2007.

Most chapter events will be free for members and open to non-members for a nominal fee to cover our expenses.
