One of the responsibilities of the Office of Device Evaluation (ODE) is to
develop and interpret regulations and guidelines regarding premarket
notification submissions (510(k)s), premarket approval applications (PMA's),
product development protocols (PDP's), device classifications, and
investigational device exemptions (IDEs). The ODE guidance memoranda,
affectionately referred to as "Blue Book Memos", clarify these guidelines and

The National Technical Information Service (NTIS) introduced FedWorld in
November 1992 to help with the challenge of accessing U.S. Government
Information on-line. In an electronic age when more and more government
agencies are racing to get on-line, FedWorld can help you keep up with the flood
of information worldwide. We are providing a comprehensive central access
point for locating and acquiring government information. The goal of NTIS
FedWorld is to provide a one-stop location for the public to locate, order and
have delivered to them, U.S. Government information. The FedWorld World
Wide Web interface today provides access to more than two dozen databases,
an interface to search our collection of more than 10,000 documents available
from our FTP server, links to services that we operate for other U.S.
Government agencies, and an on-line ordering interface to recent U.S.
Government documents. |
