Link PRODUCT CODE CLASSIFICATION DATABASE This database contains medical device names and associated information developed by the Center for Devices and Radiological Health (CDRH) in support of its mission. In addition to the zipped version of the file of product codes; and its file description; CDRH has developed a mechanism to search this database by either medical specialty or name of device. A search query will produce information from the database in the following format:
  • DEVICE NAME
  • Regulation Number
  • Medical Specialty (sometimes called Panel Code)
  • Product Code
  • Device Class
  • Tier
