This is my first year teaching at MSOE. Prior to joining the faculty at MSOE I helped found Packet Analytics. Before that I was a member of the technical staff at Los Alamos National Laboratory. I did my Ph. D. research at Iowa State University under Dr. Johnny Wong.
My interests are network security, large data set analysis, open source software and tech startups. I am also a fan of emerging Internet applications like cloud computing and social networks, especially in the ways they can be applied to education and teaching.
