Crusader Events and Other Info

Formed in September of 1997, the Crusaders were the first open clan, allowing services and sales to every adventurer in the realm of Aardwolf.

Somewhere in here - Ascalon steps down from his leadership position, seeking a new road for adventure...

Late 12/98 - Early 1/99 - After a long and succesful career as the Holy Crusaders and leaders of the clan, Spydabyte and Tassica decide to step down.
The Crusaders are continued on under the leadership of Laird Lornaco and Alor Aravan.

On a cool fall day in the year of 1998, Aravan and Mirrim are wed in the Midgaard Cathedral.

1/99 - Palador is inducted into the Crusaders.

1/99 - Ardwolf is inducted into the Crusaders.

1/99 - Job is inducted into the Crusaders.

2/99 - Garandil is inducted into the Crusaders.

3/99 - Aravan and Mirrim buy a manor.

3/99 - Big Mike and the Crusader's Corner are added to the hall (original idea and food/drink descriptions by Covair, Crusader's Corner description by Palador); around the same time, the infamous Crusader famine ends...
Big Mike annoys the clan by constantly yelling about raiders, soon to be silenced by Claire... We can't thank her enough!

3/99 - The Temple becomes more detailed with the addition of several descriptions. (Beneath a Swaying Arbor, The Majestic Hallway, Big Mike, written by Job)

4/11/99 - Job decides to defend the clan hall against derogatory names such as 'The local brothel' on gclan channel.
Job decides to call everyone on the channel an 'electric donkey bottom biter'.
Job wins.

Later that day... Job gets anxious to help the clan.
Aravan suggests clearing out the Nine Hells due to rumors of evil beings there.
Lornaco changes that to clearing the Nine Hells and challenging Lasher without rest or heal.
The question of how to challenge Lasher came up, so the Lasher task was removed.
Valkur was then substituted for Lasher.
INFO: Job has challenged the evil demonlord of the land to a duel.
INFO: Valkur has been slain by the mighty Job!
Due to Job's victory, Nine Hells task was dropped.
Job becomes the Crusader's Official Demon Slayer.

4/12/99 - YewCho is inducted into the Crusaders.

I'm proud to report that the temple of the crusaders has been
successfully bombed by Outcast troops. Here's a video clip:

You drop Bomb.

The reasons behind this bombing campaign is that we found weapons
of mass destruction in the alleged "Donation room" of the crusader
"temple." We demand that these weapons be removed, and Neutral
Outcast weapons inspectors be put in. We also have reason to believe
that newbies are being herded into the overcrowded resting rooms,
and being fed poor food and ale. Intelligence sources state that a
mug of ale was found on the floor in the Crusaders Temple, suggesting
that one or more of the crusaders may have been indulging in the
consumption of alcoholic beverages while crusading. The Outcasts will
continue bombing strikes until terms of peace can be agreed upon.

Oh, and we want a swimming pool in crusaders' hall.

5-11-99 BlackIce is inducted into the Crusaders.

5-11-99 The Bards give there best attempt at 'raiding' the Crusader Temple and leave behind much garbage and many Bombs. Luckily, most of the Bombs were diffused and given to the Nameless One. A 'nice them to death' approach seemed to have a good effect against the raid. Oh well, revenge is always fun...

6-8-99 Delirium is inducted into the Crusaders.

7-24-99 The Satchel of Sanctity was added to the Expedition Shop.

7-25-99 Sariona and Zeerus are wed. Congratulations!

8-10-99 Sariona is inducted into the Crusaders.

9-6-99 Zeerus is promoted to the third leadership position.

9-10-99 Lornaco scares the clan by going Twinlobian and filling the clan channel with many facts of intellect... Luckily, he was quickly cured before any permenant damage was done to his brain.

9-12-99 Loranco feels the need to show his power by picking on the smaller clannies:
WARFARE: Zeerus has been slain by Lornaco.

9-25-99 Lornaco gets his long awaited manor.

9-30-99 Ajas is inducted into the Crusaders.

10-5-99 Lornaco and Ceallach are wed. Congratulations!

11-1-99 Fusoya is inducted into the Crusaders.

11-10-99 The Crusaders decide the Bard Hall is a little too dark, so we light it up by dropping a few hundred balls and hallowed lights around the hall.

11-13-99 Lornaco SH's. Rah!
After receiving such a nice death threat, I'd like to strike that last entry and replace it with:
11-13-99 With the motivation of clan members and friends, Lornaco finally achieves the dignified rank of Superhero.
